Role
Full-stack engineer — API, dashboard, mobile app and deployment

The problem

Mobility products are real-time or they are useless. A trip has a lifecycle measured in minutes, drivers are on cheap Android handsets and patchy mobile data, and the operations team needs to see what is happening now — not a report tomorrow morning.

Approach

The driver app is deliberately thin and tolerant of bad connectivity: state changes queue locally and reconcile when signal returns, so a dropped connection does not lose a trip. The operations dashboard reads from the same API, giving the office a live picture rather than a reconstructed one.

What was built

  • Rider Android app — booking, live trip status and history
  • Driver flow — availability, trip acceptance and completion
  • Live operations dashboard for trips, drivers and fleet status
  • Maps, routing and location tracking
  • Push notification pipeline for trip and status events
  • Admin reporting across trips, drivers and earnings
